http://zazeez.gaia.com/blog Gaia Community: Zazeez's Blog Tue, 18 Nov 2008 20:07:01 -0000 60 http://www.sporkmonger.com/projects/feedtools/ http://zazeez.gaia.com/blog/2007/10/meshwork_accountabilities Holacracy any one?...<br />The other week my business partenr and I had an insight into the design of a meshwork.&nbsp; Let me begin by defining a meshwork.&nbsp; It is an organized system of organizations that meet the needs of a civilization.&nbsp; It is a meld of business, government, and non-profits.&nbsp; All of these organizations are meeting the needs of members of a civilization, a meshwork is an opportunity fo them to work as a seamless whole.&nbsp; <br />How do these organizations work in concert so that they are truly a system and not just another heap?&nbsp; <br />In exploring this question we saw one aspect clearly.&nbsp; <br />Just as Holarchic organizations are organized as systems in part by clearly defining what each memebr is accountable for, in a meshwork each organization is accountable for select functions of the civilization.&nbsp; Its a fractal pattern of accountabilities that go from the individuals accountabilities up to the organizations accountabilities and up to the accountabilities of humanity itself.&nbsp; Now there is an intersting topic to explore!&nbsp; Pleae join in...
